Average temperatures this time of year range from daytime highs in the upper 60’s and evening lows in the 30’s. Be sure to check weather reports ahead of your departure to Tahoe for accurate predictions.

In addition to the attire recommendations for each event listed on the “Itinerary” page, we recommend packing appropriate outerwear and plenty of layers for your weekend stay.

altitude

Much of South Lake Tahoe is based at an elevation of 6,200’. Remember to drink plenty of water during your stay and to hydrate well in advance if you are prone to altitude sensitivities.

    An iconic landmark with panaromic views of Tahoe’s south shores. We recommend the one mile hike to the bottom to the historic Vikingsholm estate or checking out one of the more advanced neighboring trailheads.
